Ann began the firm in 2004, having been asked to provide some consulting “on the side” for a firm with whom she was friendly although not her employer. Working for architects, engineers and contractors for several years, she found it frustrating to filter opportunities through just one corporate lens and sharing of business development resources was frowned upon. It seemed a shame to not use her knowledge to help others win work if it would not adversely affect her employer. And, prior to joining the A/E/C industry, Ann worked in community and economic development so she understood the power of public-private partnerships and a team approach to problem-solving.

This frustration led to a business model that allows her to leverage a robust network of building owners and industry professionals for the benefit of her clients. She is widely recognized as a creative problem-solver and door-opener to powerful connections between people and things. She is a well-respected leader in design and construction industry.

With nearly 30 years of experience in economic and business development, Ann has served as a consultant to clients in the areas of community visioning, project planning, fundraising, and advocacy as well as facility planning, design and construction. A valuable resource for public and private sector leaders, she understands the political and economic environments in which they find themselves when making significant capital investments.
